Location and Accessibility of Hydroxy Groups in Silico-aluminate Porous Materials as Studied by IR Spectroscopy

The literature concerning IR studies on location and accessibility of hydroxy groups in silico-aluminate porous materials, i.e. amorphous and mesoporous silicas and silicalumina, and H-FER, H-MFI, H-BEA, H-MWW, H-MOR, and different types of H-Y zeolites is briefly reviewed and comparatively discussed.
