Abstract

Background: This paper designs an inverter conversion device to solve the problems in the conventional control technologies including the larger occupation, the worse transplantability and the inconvenient maintenance, etc. Methods: The sine pulse width modulation based on the equivalent area method is reviewed. Results: This design emphasizes on the study of the equivalent area method, and simulates the generation algorithm of the sine pulse width modulation through MATLAB software. Comparing with the traditional method based on the analog circuit modulation, the equivalent area method performs the good effect in the waveforms of the voltage output and the current output. After completing the design of the main circuit and the control circuit, the paper compiles the algorithm program based on the equivalent area method and realizes the control of the frequency conversion output. The test results are almost the same as the expected results so as to validate the feasibility of the designed inverter conversion device based on the equivalent area method. Conclusion: The device exhibits not only the good sine degree of the output waveforms on the alternating current side, but also the better transplantability, portability and practicability.
