Diastereoselective One-Pot Synthesis of Dialkyl 2-(dialkoxyphosphoryl)-3- (2-tosylhydrazinyl)succinates

This paper describes the synthesis of the novel phosphonato esters from the reaction of dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates with the N–H acid (4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl hydrazide in the presence of trialkyl(aryl) phosphites at room temperature in excellent yields.
