Abstract

In this study, a general, mild and convenient solvent-free method has been developed for the synthesis of various N-aryl and N-alkylsulfonamides. A variety of sulfonamides were prepared at room temperature in high yield and purity. Selective sulfonylation of electron rich amines in the presence of electron poor ones and also chemoselective sulfonylation of amino group in amino alcohols and amino phenols are the noteworthy advantages of this method.
