<div>Recurrent Aphthous Stomatitis (RAS), which has symptoms like pain while</div><div>eating, speaking, or swallowing, is one of the most hurtful oral mucosal inflammatory</div><div>ulcerative diseases [1]. Tumor necrosis factor α (TNF α), has a main role in</div><div>predominantly cell-mediated immune response due to the pathogenesis of RAS. The</div><div>aim of this study was to investigate the therapeutic effects of Beta-glucan on the</div><div>response of lymphocytes with and without phytohemagglutinin (PHA), a T lymphocyte</div><div>mitogen, in treatment of RAS. RAS, estimated by the Ulcer Severity Score (USS),</div><div>shows ulcer characteristics (number, size, duration, ulcer-free period, site, and pain).</div>
