Abstract

The dentist must look for extra canals while performing endodontic treatment. Patients presenting with three canals in maxillary second premolar is a rare phenomenon, and in particular, bilateral maxillary premolars having three canals is very rare. In these patients, accurate preoperative radiographs with multiple angulations are useful in diagnosis. Good clinical and radio-graphic skills are required in the successful diagnosis and treatment of these cases. This article describes an uncommon case of endodontic treatment of bilateral maxillary premolars with three canals.
