Abstract

Objective: We introduce the relation between Stylometry and neuroscience by reviewing stylometric studies from the viewpoint of pattern recognition. Structure: This paper is organized as follows. Section 1 presents stylometric studies based on pattern recognition. Section 2 and Section 3 outline stylometric features and authorship attribution methods. Section 4 describes the relation between stylometry and the brain. Conclusion: This paper indicates the relation between stylometry and neuroscience by presenting stylistic variation in the works of an author who suffers from mental illness.
