Molecularly Imprinted Polymers: Artificial Receptors with Wide-Ranging Applications

The development of the molecular imprinting concept over the past five years is reviewed with particular emphasis on an understanding of the underlying principles and applications to medicine, the environment and security. All aspects of imprinted polymers are surveyed, especially methods for production and characterization.
