Abstract

Introduction

Many approaches to the synthesis of acetylsalicylic acid have been explored, and improvements in its production are evident.

Methods

In this work, the synthesis of Acetylsalicylic acid was conducted economically and effectively with iPAs (iso-propenyl acetate).

Results and Discussion

The resulting product was characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, and mass. Studies were conducted on its antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Conclusion

The present work can be a substitute method for synthesizing Acetylsalicylic acid.
