Gustav Killian was the inventor of the bronchoscope, which was strongly propagated by several stalwarts in medicine resulting in the invention of advanced and innovative techniques and superior bronchoscopes starting with the rigid bronchoscope, flexible bronchoscope to endobronchial ultrasounds, microchip technology and so forth that are being discovered even today.
