Purpose: The iron and steel industry is the backbone of a progressive engineering system, so increasing organisational effectiveness in the iron and steel industry requires strong, proactive measures. Thriving economies need associations that provide recitals that are beyond anticipation. Our main goal in conducting this research was to identify and clarify the many variables that have a measurable impact on organisational effectiveness. This purpose was motivated by a deep passion to fully comprehend the complex processes that support an organisation's capacity to meet its objectives, make the most of its resources, and prosper in a constantly changing business environment. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research analysed the factors influencing organisational effectiveness. For this, data was collected from employees working in the iron and steel Industry in Mandi Gobindgarh. The findings were obtained using the factor analysis technique.Findings: A task was accomplished with the use of factor analysis in the field of data analysis, where a sizable data set consisting of an impressive 31 different assertions was carefully investigated. Ten unique components were successfully identified from this large collection of statements through a rigorous analytical approach. Each element indicated a different aspect or quality, which helped to fully comprehend the underlying factors. These were named management system and effectiveness, performance improvement, teamwork, legitimization, work environment, reward and recognition, involvement, consensus, competency, and commitment. The outcomes of the research will be helpful to the iron and steel sector, which wants to increase the effectiveness of their organisations. These organisations can use these factors as a measure to increase effectiveness and productivity in the organisations instead of sticking to conventional methods.
