Today, the main driver of socioeconomic development is energy. However, the interest in renewable energy is important because of the increasing level of environmental concern. Due to the ongoing depletion of fossil fuels, this alternative energy source is steadily growing in popularity. It is the energy that is derived from the sun, wind, rain, etc. Solar energy has one of the greatest potentialities for conversion into electric power among unconventional, renewable energy sources. To improve efficiency, a solar system should produce as much electricity as possible. So we keep the solar panels aligned with the sun for optimum power production. This chapter discusses the production of electricity from solar energy. By appropriately positioning the panel in line with the position of the sun, the suggested method assures the maximum efficiency of the conversion of solar energy into electricity.
