There are two kinds of endoscopic lumbar interbody fusion. One approach isa transforaminal approach using uniportal endoscopic surgery [6-8], and the other is aposterolateral approach like MIS TLIF using uniportal or biportal endoscopic surgery. The transkambin approach is similar to transforaminal uniportal endoscopic lumbardiscectomy through the Kambin triangle through which also the endplate preparationand cage insertion are done. The posterolateral endoscopic TLIF techniques are similarto MIS TLIF using a tubular retractor system and mainly used by the surgeons whopractice biportal endoscopic surgery. Because of the paucity of literature describing theuniportal endoscopic posterolateral approach for transforaminal interbody fusion(Endo-TLIF), we describe in this chapter the technique of full endoscopic endplatedenudation and adhesion releasing technique of endoscopic transforaminal lumbarinterbody fusion for degenerative spondylolisthesis and degenerative scoliosis.
