Coronavirus is a vast family of RNA viruses causing diseases from fever to severe illness and even death. Initially, it was called 2019 novel coronavirus (2019- nCoV) and labelled as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS CoV-2). The disease caused by coronavirus has been named coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Coronaviruses are widespread amongst birds, reptiles, cats, dogs, pigs, monkeys, rabbits, bats, and as well as in humans. SARS-CoV-2 is highly contagious and transmissible from human to human with an incubation period of up to 24 days, although the mortality rate seems to be significantly lower than SARS-CoV and MERS. Statistical data showed that on an average, an individual infected person can infect 5.7 cases.
