<div>Soluble fibers are more effective for the management of diabetes, obesity,</div><div>dyslipidemia, hypertension, and different cancers when compared with insoluble fibers.</div><div>The ingestion of foods with a low glycaemic index is a helpful alternative in</div><div>controlling diabetes. The hypocholesterolemic and hypoglycemic effects of β-glucan</div><div>are due to its high viscosity and high molecular weight. For this reason, β-glucan is</div><div>chosen by the food industry to manufacture various types of functional foods. β-</div><div>glucans, which are also having form as Oat β-glucan (OβG), including primarily of the</div><div>linear polysaccharide (1→ 3), (1→ 4)-β-D-glucan is a vital food supplement for</div><div>achieving insulin responses and decreasing postprandial glucose. Also, β-glucans</div><div>accelerate wound healing and prevent ischemic heart injury disease. Dose,</div><div>physicochemical properties, and processing techniques are important factors in</div><div>controlling glycaemia by emerging the effects of β-glucans.</div>
